Structure and working principle of grab crane

The structure and working principle of grab bridge crane are mainly composed of box bridge frame, grab trolley, trolley running mechanism, cabin control room and electric control system. The pickup device is a grab bucket capable of grabbing bulk materials. The grab bridge crane has opening and closing mechanism and hoisting mechanism. The grab bucket is hung on the opening and closing mechanism and hoisting mechanism by four wire ropes respectively. The opening and closing mechanism drives the grab closure and grabs the material. In order to ensure the safety of the crane, railing handrails were set up. The height of the railing was 1050mm and the distance was 350mm. There were two horizontal bars, a protective panel with the height of 70mm at the bottom, a lighting lamp under the bridge frame, an insulating rubber sheet and a door switch in the cabin control room. All transmission parts are provided with protective cover, each railing door is also provided with safety switches, the terminal of the stroke is provided with stoppage, and the sliding line is provided with a retaining hook frame.
Classifications of crane grabs based on the loading materials
The basic conditions for the grab type to ensure that the grab is full of materials are: suitable bucket type, basic size and sufficient weight. According to the characteristics of the grabbing material, the grab bucket is usually divided into four basic types: light, medium, heavy and super heavy.
All kinds of grab adapts the material and the weight ratio of self-weight to material. See Table 1.
Medium grab weight is about equal to material weight, light weight is smaller, heavy weight is larger. For different types of grab, the corresponding parameters and structural types should be selected. The double jaw grab is suitable for grabbing particles and powder, and the jaw plate should be made with teeth when the grain-size of grab is larger than 100mm or more solid material. When grabbing quasi-rail vehicle is adopted, its grab volume is generally not more than 3 m. Multi-claw (also called lotus) grab, the number of bucket jaw plate is generally 6, and the jaw plate cut is sharp angle, which is suitable for grabbing hard ore, aluminum ingot, iron scraps and scrap steel, which is difficult to insert in double jaw plate grab.
