Data from China Customs shows that in 2021, Mozambique imported various types of crane equipment from China worth US$4.201 million, an increase of 5% compared with the total import value of US$3.996 million in 2020. However, from the perspective of trade between the two countries, the bilateral import and export volume of goods between China and Mozambique in 2021 will be US$4,035.98 million, an increase of US$1,458.8695 million compared with the same period in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 56.5%. It can be speculated that the demand for Chinese cranes in Mozambique may continue to grow in the future.
