Data from China Customs shows that Iraq will import various types of crane equipment from China worth US$7.306 million in 2021, down 37.45% from the total import value of US$11.676 million in 2020. The contraction of the Iraqi crane market may be related to the rise in crane raw materials caused by the surge in global iron ore prices in 2021.
