Data from China Customs shows that Kenya’s imports of various types of cranes from China in 2021 are worth US$10.462 million, an increase of 14.95% compared with the total import value of US$9.10 million in 2020. From the time line, there is no particularly obvious pattern in the growth rate, and the import volume in March, May and September in 2021 far exceeds that of other months. Kenya and China have good trade relations, and China’s high-quality and low-cost crane products are constantly being recognized by more Kenyan customers. From a larger perspective, the bilateral import and export volume of goods between China and Kenya in 2021 will be US$6,961.83 million, an increase of US$1,399.9324 million compared with the same period in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 25.2%.
