See the batch number, registration number, date of manfacture/expiry on the label.

Buy well-packaged pesticides.

Precautions during store

Store the pesticide away from the premises of the house.

Pesticides should be kept in its original container only.

Pesticides and weed-killers should be kept separately.

The area where insecticides are stored should be marked with warning signs.

Pesticides should be stored away from the reach of children and pets.

The storage should be well protected from direct sunlight and rain.

Precautions while handling

Keep insecticides at different place during transport.

Pesticides if taken in bulk quantity, should be carefully handled.

Always use clean water while preparing the spraying solution.

Use protective clothing i.e. gloves, face masks, cap, apron, complete trousers, etc. to cover the entire body.

Precautions after spraying the pesticide
